Energy ("the app") is an educational study tool that helps middle school students learn energy science (NGSS MS-PS3) using animated flip cards, a quiz, and a study guide. This policy explains how the app handles information.

We do not collect personal data

The app does not ask you to create an account, sign in, or enter any personal information. It does not collect, store, or transmit names, email addresses, locations, identifiers, or any other personal data.

No data stored on your device

Quiz scores and study progress are kept only in memory while the app is open and are cleared when you close it. The app does not use cookies, local storage, or any persistent on-device storage to remember you.

No advertising

The app contains no advertisements and does not use any advertising SDKs. There is no third-party ad tracking of any kind.

No analytics or tracking

The app does not include analytics services, SDKs, or tracking tools (for example, Google Analytics, Firebase, or similar). We do not measure or report on how you use the app.

Children's privacy

The app is designed for middle school students, including children under 13. Because the app does not collect any personal information from anyone — including children — no special parental consent is required and no children's data is gathered or shared. The app complies with the applicable requirements of COPPA and Google Play's Families policy.

Links to other sites

The app does not link to external websites. If that changes in a future update, this policy will be updated to describe it.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will change the "Effective date" above and revise this page. Because the app does not collect data, future updates will not result in any new data practices unless described here.
